Lunkers Caught with Norton Brass Rattlers

These two fish were caught on the green Norton Brass Rattler.

The handiest fishing tool I know - The Fish Grip! Next to my basic tackle, I can’t think of a more needy and useful item to have on a fishing trip. As you know, most fish are slippery and hard to handle, not to mention armed with pointy teeth. You can completely avoid having to touch those critters when you use the fish grip.

It makes good practice to be able to release him back to his waters without possible spreading bacteria. They have a hard enough time surviving as it is. I wouldn’t leave home without it.

Dear FishGrip,

I spend one week a year in the Ontario bush fishing for world class
 Northern
Pike.  After looking around for a tool that would allow me to more
 easily
land the toothy Northerns, I decided on your product.  I looked at
 others
but felt that yours was the best product especially for the price.
One of the gang showed up with an $80 boga grip and it turned out to
be cumbersum and very rough on the fish.  After trying Fish Grippers,
 I absolutely
loved your product.  So much so that it became standard equipment
 with my
large group of family and friends who came on these trips.  Any new
 person
who came was always reminded to "pick up some grippers" before you
 show up (at Cabelas).
Anyone who failed to do so, quickly saw how important this equipment
was and would beg to borrow his boatmates.
When you are landing dozens of Pike each day, time spent handling fish
becomes an issue, not to mention the safety factor as a hook in the
 hand
when you are in the Canadian bush is not what you need.   We also
 always
felt that this was less harming of the fish as it allowed us to land
 them
without a net and often letting us keep them in the water untouched
 during the release.

In fact, are a walking commercial for your company, we are so sold
on the product.  You should consider hiring us
to do some infomercials for you!

There was one unfortunate incident this Spring however that just
 happened to
occur on what appeared to be my largest Pike ever.  My friend had just
applied the grippers like we do so many times when the Pike thrashed
 in the
water.  What happened next shocked me and my fishing crew.  The
 plastic grippers actually
snapped in half on the bottom jaw.  I couldn't believe it as  it
 sounded
like a gunshot going off when they snapped.  Subsequently I wound up
 losing
a Pike that was well over 43 inches in length.  I wonder if there is
 any
kind of warranty on your product?   I was hoping that perhaps out of
sympathy for my loss, that your company might consider sending me a
 replacement pair of grips?

I will continue to use fish grips despite this pair that broke as
 they have
landed 100's of fish for my group.  I have uploaded the video of when
the actual grippers broke, which you may find interesting to watch.
 Also
there is a video of a successful landing and many pictures of some
of the Pike we have landed with your product (we have dozens from
over the years).  We believe our pictures and testimonial could be a
great marketing tool for your product.  We sincerely feel that
anybody who goes to Canada MUST have a pair of these in their tackle
 box.
